My Collins dictionary defines a zebra as “an African wild horse which has black and white stripes”. I think there could be no better definition of this.
I find zebras extremely pretty amazing with their black and white stripes. Alexander McQueen was right when he said, “There is no better designer than nature”.
Scientists have been baffled and wonder if they are black with white stripes or white with black stripes. As an upcoming scientist and photographer, I’m baffled too.
Their stripes are well-formed, no overlaps, no mistake nor are two colors following each other.
I happen to own several zebra photos among my wild animal species collection, sourced from family photographers, places I have been attached to in the field and several tours and excursions I have participated in, all around Kenya.
